The Small Book

What these pics have in common is that they were drawn in my small (5" x 8-1/2") Canson sketchbook. Working on my figures and heads. Trying to keep loose, but still use at least a little structure. I'm doing that with the heads here, using a formula that Andrew Loomis thought up in the 1940s. It seems to work, but most of my "constructed" people look like stiff mannequins.
Below, I'm trying to draw "good" cheesecake, but always feel vaguely guilty about it. Robert Crumb I am not. Too much of a Nice Guy.
