Dream Cat No. 3

I like how natural this little guy feels, both in the drawing and when I dreamed him, yet objectively, how absurd. I think dreams get inoculated with a little extra emotional zest, so you believe things which ordinarily would not be believeable. Like the time I woke up after dreaming what I thought was the most amazing short story idea I'd ever had. That was true in the dream, and I remembered it after waking, but it made no sense in the light of day. Well, back to sleep, perhaps!

I had a dream last night that one of my cats was missing her back feet. She was walking around on pathetic little stumps, yet somehow, she still had claws that extended all the way from her stumps to where the ends of her feet would have been. I don't think I could draw that, especially since I don't even draw.
My cats are weird, but happy. I get anxious dreams about my real cats sometimes, but I think it's the mind cleaning out stuff that has already gone on. So consider it a way of getting over such worries.
