This was a "work for hire" strip for the McGill Alumni association. (I've certainly done a lot of work for McGill University, even though I didn't go there.)
It was written by the Alumni Communications person for a fundraising flyer, but never issued, because the University Board of Governors thought the comic was "too frivolous."
So, I was paid (well, for this kind of work), but it has never seen the light of day until now.
